Students will discover how to design exercise programs for improving a client’s aerobic and anaerobic capacity. In addition, students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts in movement screening, vocational fitness testing (e.g. police and paramedic), circuit training, and instability training.

Description: | Secure ankle straps around both ankles. Seated upright. Place one foot securely on the floor (or foot pedal if wheelchair is being used). Raise the opposite foot until the knee is full extended. Engage the quadriceps muscle as you extend the leg. Make sure wheelchair brakes are engaged. Adjust foot pedals as required. | ||
