PHRE 3043 – Functional Movement and Conditioning

Progressing from Principles of Fitness exercise techniques, Students will learn additional training strategies in order to design exercise programs for client’s wishing to improve anaerobic capacity, movement quality, and occupational requirements (e.g. police and paramedic). Students will be introduced to various training techniques such as: joint mobility, dynamic warm-ups, multi-joint lifting techniques, lunging/stepping patterns, grip strength, advanced cardiovascular interval and tempo training, circuits and more.

Description:
  1. Wet the electrode areas of the strap under running water and make sure that they are well moistened.
  2. Attach the connector to the strap. Adjust the strap length to fit snugly and comfortably.
  3. Tie the strap around your chest, just below the chest muscles, and attach the hook to the other end of the strap.
  4. Check that the wet electrode areas are firmly against your skin and that the Polar logo of the connector is in a central, upright position.
