PHRE 3044 – Special Populations

This course focuses on adaptive exercise techniques for a variety of populations (i.e. children, pregnancy, older adults, disabilities, and chronic disease). Students will learn how to modify exercises and/or equipment to effectively and safely accommodate these groups.

Description:
  1. Start in a supine position on the floor with your arms at a 45 degree angle relative to your torso.
  2. Bridge your hips up by squeezing your glutes and driving your heels into the floor.
  3. Lower your hips back to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
