PHRE 3044 – Special Populations

This course focuses on adaptive exercise techniques for a variety of populations (i.e. children, pregnancy, older adults, disabilities, and chronic disease). Students will learn how to modify exercises and/or equipment to effectively and safely accommodate these groups.

Description:
  1. Set band around sturdy object anchored to the floor
  2. Stand far enough forward to put an appropriate amount of tension on the resistance band
  3. With a slight bend in the elbows, horizontally adduct the shoulders to your centre line
