This course focuses on post injury prevention and reconditioning exercises for clients that have had or are at risk of having an athletic (sports) related injury. Functional anatomy, postural evaluation and muscle imbalances will be used to develop exercise strategies for common sports related injuries.

Description: | Start by standing with torso erect (shoulders retracted), hands on hips or at sides for balance, one foot in front of the other. Lower body by flexing knee and hip of front leg (weight should be focus on heel of lead foot) until knee of rear leg is almost in contact with floor. Pause and return to starting position, pushing off through the heel of the lead leg. | ||
