PHRE 3045 – Sports Injuries

This course focuses on post injury prevention and reconditioning exercises for clients that have had or are at risk of having an athletic (sports) related injury. Functional anatomy, postural evaluation and muscle imbalances will be used to develop exercise strategies for common sports related injuries.

Description:
  1. Begin in a plank position with your weight resting on your forearms and your body in a completely straight line from your shoulders to your ankles.
  2. Tighten your abs and without letting your hips shift, raise one arm out straight in front of you.
  3. Pause, then lower it back to the starting position.
