PHRE 3045 – Sports Injuries

This course focuses on post injury prevention and reconditioning exercises for clients that have had or are at risk of having an athletic (sports) related injury. Functional anatomy, postural evaluation and muscle imbalances will be used to develop exercise strategies for common sports related injuries.

Description:
  1. Position yourself on your hands and knees on the ground.
  2. Keeping the knee in a bent position, abduct the femur, moving your knee away from the midline of the body.
  3. Pause at the top of the motion, and then slowly return to the starting position.

Perform this slowly for a number of repetitions, and repeat on the other side.
