PHRE 3045 – Sports Injuries

This course focuses on post injury prevention and reconditioning exercises for clients that have had or are at risk of having an athletic (sports) related injury. Functional anatomy, postural evaluation and muscle imbalances will be used to develop exercise strategies for common sports related injuries.

Description:

Feet shoulder width apart.
Band tubing secured under medial arch of foot. Even pressure under feet to ensure band is secure.
Cross band technique for additional security.
Hinge at hips, slight bend in knees, keep spine neutral including maintaining a flat back, slight lumbar curve and neutral (not forward) head position.
Initiate row by retracting scapulae as you bring arms back.
