PHRE 3045 – Sports Injuries

This course focuses on post injury prevention and reconditioning exercises for clients that have had or are at risk of having an athletic (sports) related injury. Functional anatomy, postural evaluation and muscle imbalances will be used to develop exercise strategies for common sports related injuries.

Description:
  • Symmetrical stance, knees bent, one arm extended horizontally with shoulder, find active plank
  • Maintaining long spine, pull body down into the squat
  • Extend knees and drive up with hips and chest and shoulders moving at the same speed
Common Error(s): Valgus knees | Torso collapses forward | Not engaging core
