PHRE 5003 – High Performance Training for Sport

This course focuses on training strategies and tools appropriate for athletic populations. In particular, students will learn: 1-RM strength testing, Wingate protocols, Tabata training, snatch progressions, clean progressions, plyometrics.

Description:

In a staggered stance.  Posteriorly tilt the pelvis and lunge forward until you feel a stretch in the hip flexors of the back leg.  There should be no pain or discomfort within the hip of lower back.  Bending the back knee (or the leg being stretched) will include the rectus femoris muscle.

Spotting: Consider self-spotting option
