PHRE 5003 – High Performance Training for Sport

This course focuses on training strategies and tools appropriate for athletic populations. In particular, students will learn: 1-RM strength testing, Wingate protocols, Tabata training, snatch progressions, clean progressions, plyometrics.

Description:
  1. Stand in an upright position rotate the arms in a simultaneous clockwise or counterclockwise fashion.
  2. Start with small circles and slowly work your way into larger circles.
  3. Continue until the shoulders start to loosen up and blood flow increases.
  4. Repeat the process in the opposite direction.
