PHRE 5003 – High Performance Training for Sport

This course focuses on training strategies and tools appropriate for athletic populations. In particular, students will learn: 1-RM strength testing, Wingate protocols, Tabata training, snatch progressions, clean progressions, plyometrics.

Description:
  1. Set up in a prone position with your hands by your side (or behind your back) and your feet together.
  2. Extend your lower back by contracting your spinal erectors.
  3. Slowly lower back to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
