PHRE 5003 – High Performance Training for Sport

This course focuses on training strategies and tools appropriate for athletic populations. In particular, students will learn: 1-RM strength testing, Wingate protocols, Tabata training, snatch progressions, clean progressions, plyometrics.

Description:

Standing 1-2 feet away from a wall with your arms braced against it, put one foot forward so that the forefoot (toes) isĀ in contact with the wall and the heel is in contact with the floor. Keeping your leg straight, push your hips forward and gently hold this position to the point of mild tension.

Hold 10-30 sec, then repeat with other leg.
