PHRE 3045 – Sports Injuries

This course focuses on post injury prevention and reconditioning exercises for clients that have had or are at risk of having an athletic (sports) related injury. Functional anatomy, postural evaluation and muscle imbalances will be used to develop exercise strategies for common sports related injuries.

Description:

Feet shoulder width apart. Band under arch/groove of foot. Even foot pressure to keep band secure. Upright strong and neutral posture. Palms up. Hands at side in comfortable position. Elbows tight to trunk. Engage upward motion with biceps contraction through full range.

Common Error(s): Rounded shoulders | Inappropriate momentum
